Come share the joys and purpose of a career in cooperatives, credit unions and mutuals! Young cooperators—members of this year’s cohort of the Cooperative Leaders and Scholars Institute—are eager to learn from your experiences. Your presence is vital to building a stronger, unified and more knowledgeable cooperative movement by sharing your expertise and experience with future leaders.
This session will take the form of “speed networking:” every five minutes you will have the opportunity to meet with a different member of the CLSI cohort. If you would like to attend this session, please indicate your interest when you register for the conference—select “Yes” to the question, “Would you be willing to be part of a pool of mentors for young cooperators?”
The CLSI program serves two groups of rising leaders. First, promising young (ages 18-35) employees or board members at cooperatives, credit unions and mutuals who will benefit from learning more about the economic and social impacts of their businesses by attending the Cooperative IMPACT Conference. Second, post-secondary students (any age) who are recognized for their interest in the cooperative business model. For more information about the CLSI, or this session, visit cdf.coop/clsi or email Greg Irving at firstname.lastname@example.org.
