Registration Now Open for the 2018 National Homecare Cooperative Conference

Homecare worker cooperative members and developers from across the country will gather November 12-15, 2018 in Dulles, Virginia, for the third annual National Homecare Cooperative Conference.Empowering workers and improving working conditions through the cooperative model creates an environment of stable, reliable and consistent home care.Homecare worker cooperative members and developers from across the country will gather November 12-15, 2018 in Dulles, Virginia, for the third annual National Homecare Cooperative Conference.The conference is organized by the Cooperative Development Foundation (CDF) and hosted at the headquarters of the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation. CDF’s homecare cooperative initiative supports sustainable homecare cooperatives and enhances opportunities for member-owners through quality technical assistance, robust research and data-driven analysis.

This year’s pre-conference highlights include:

  • Caregiver Special Topics Training
  • Homecare Basics/Start-up Intensive

Main conference topics include:

  • National Homecare Cooperative Status & Outlook
  • Defining the Cooperative Difference and the Cooperative Advantage in Homeware

  • Revenue Diversification Strategies for Homecare Cooperatives
  • Homecare Growth and Financing

Full-conference registration costs $250 and includes the pre-conference programming. Click here to register for this event! Scholarships for registration, travel and lodging stipends are available for qualifying homecare cooperative members. The application deadline is September 21, 2018, and applications are limited to three per homecare cooperative. Apply for a scholarship here.
