POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Chief of Party (COP) will lead the integrated agriculture, food security, nutrition, and resilience program in Madagascar. This transformative program aims to equip families and communities with the knowledge, tools, and resources to combat hunger and build resilience against various challenges such as market price fluctuations, drought, and conflict. The COP should have significant leadership, management, and international development experience; a demonstrated track record in managed integrated agriculture and/or food security programs, solid professional reputation successfully managing USAID projects and private-sector relations; and experience successfully implementing USAID cooperative agreements. The COP will assume responsibilities for coordinating agreement management and implementation tasks, liaise with USAID/Madagascar on technical matters, and respond to the USAID Agreement Officer Representative and Agreement Officer.
