Know a Promising Co-op Student, Employee or Board Member? Send Them to IMPACT 2018!

The 2018 Co-op IMPACT Conference is proud to include a unique opportunity for established co-ops to advance the newest generation of cooperative leaders.

NCBA CLUSA’s Cooperative Leaders & Scholars Institute is your co-op’s chance to develop and engage employees, board members and post-secondary students—ages 18 to 35—with participation in a national cooperative conference and exposure to co-op economists and thought leaders.

Is there a promising and committed cooperative employee or board member at your co-op? Are there any post-secondary students on your radar who are recognized for their demonstrated interest in cooperatives and credit unions? Become a sponsor today to support this premier learning and networking program! Your $1,600 sponsorship covers IMPACT registration, a travel stipend and accommodations at the conference hotel (Sheraton Pentagon City in Arlington, VA) for one attendee.

Participants in the Cooperative Leaders & Scholars Institute will attend the full Co-op IMPACT Conference, as well as participate in exclusive orientation and networking events designed specifically to meet their interests and broaden their understanding of co-op economic impact.

“NCBA CLUSA looks forward to welcoming another energized and diverse cohort of cooperative leaders and scholars representing the co-op community at IMPACT 2018,” said Doug O’Brien, president & CEO of NCBA CLUSA.

“As was demonstrated at IMPACT 2017, the next generation of leaders is interested in making an impact on the economy and society, making this conference an ideal platform for engagement,” O’Brien added. “Including these leaders and scholars in the conversation will help them make the case to their peers that co-ops are the best business model to elevate participation and growth in the nation’s economy.”
