Brett Theodos a Senior Fellow at the Urban Institute where he directs the Community Economic Development Hub. Dr. Theodos recently coauthored a research brief on how the co-op sector can best measure its impact. His other economic and community development work includes studies of Opportunity Zones, New Markets Tax Credits, SBA loan and investment programs, the Community Development Block Grant and Section 108 programs, and several impact investing, CDFI and mission finance strategies.

He also leads studies of affordable homeownership and financial capability supports, and directs Measure4Change, an initiative that provides deep dive coaching and technical assistance to nonprofits in developing their capacities in performance measurement and indicator development.

Brett serves on the Board of the Center for Community Progress and of the Douglass Community Land Trust.
