Kellen Parrish is an early career professional in international development. After a brief stint in the Maritime industry, he began his path as many development professionals do by joining the Peace Corps, completing his two-year service in Guatemala.
To pair with his newfound interest in development, namely food security, along with a lifelong passion for marine biology, he pursued a master’s degree and professional experience in aquaculture development.
Kellen began with Partners of the Americas (POA) in early 2019 after working for a large aquaculture farm in California. He currently manages Monitoring and Evaluation and volunteer assignment development for POA in addition to helping with business development.
In his spare time, he advises the Pacific Northwest aquaculture development group and enjoys SCUBA and freediving.
