The Cooperative Business School offers 67 courses, has hosted 350 learning events and has welcomed 10,000 people across 12 countries. With easy-to-access, self-directed modules that allow you to learn at your own pace, this e-learning platform enables cooperative members and stakeholders to develop practical knowledge and skills. Coming Soon – Foundations of Cooperative Enterprise Series

A new partnership with Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business

Co-developed by ASU and NCBA CLUSA, this course provides a foundation for understanding how cooperative enterprises operate across sectors and markets. Structured as four stackable micro-credentials culminating in a capstone experience, the course allows learners to build expertise progressively while applying their knowledge in real-world contexts.

Across the micro-credentials, learners examine cooperative identity, including member ownership, governance and organizational structure, and how these differ from investor-owned models. Through applied examples and industry-informed perspectives, participants explore how cooperatives function and adapt in the U.S. and globally. The capstone integrates these concepts, enabling learners to analyze and apply cooperative strategies to practical challenges.
