Latonta Godboldt, is the owner and operator of Small Wonders Child Care & Learning Center and a founding member of the Family Child Care Coalition, a cooperative of home-based child care providers located in Philadelphia, PA. She has over 16 years of experience in early childhood education, including roles as an assistant teacher, group supervisor, lead teacher, and a director. Latonta is a union leader and advocate. She serves as the President of the Family Childcare Advisory council for FirstUp: Champions for Early Education and has held previous leadership roles in Running Start Philadelphia, STAR’s Think Tank, and The Erickson Project. Throughout her career, Latonta has dedicated her time to advance voice, recognition, and respect for all early childhood educational workers.
