Sarah Gebretsadik focuses on strategic and program development at Mastercard Foundation. She also manages several youth employment and livelihood programs, and provides MSME related technical support across the foundation’s programs. Sarah has previously worked in Ethiopia with a local NGO where she supported women-led businesses to build their export capacity and increase their access to international markets. She has also worked with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business on public policy issues related to small- and medium-sized businesses across Canada. She holds a master’s degree in Economic Development and Public Policy from York University, and a bachelor’s degree in International Development and Economics from the University of Toronto.
