Shineal Hunter is a founding member of the Family Child Care Coalition and has owned and operated Family Circle Academy in Philadelphia, PA for the last 11 years. She is a 4th generation child care provider: her great grandmother, grandmother, and mother are all childcare providers. Shineal is a leader and advocate in the Pennsylvania child care community and serves as Vice President of the Family Childcare Council. She also has previous experience as a TSS worker, case manager, social worker, and therapist. Shineal has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lincoln University, a Master’s Degree in Education from Cheyney University, and Master’s Degree in Counseling Phycology from Temple University.
