Early-bird deadline for spring CooperationWorks! training ends February 6

We’re happy to spread the word about an upcoming training from our friends at CooperationWorks!, a national network of skilled cooperative development practitioners.

This year’s Finance Fundamentals: Assessing Feasibility for New Cooperatives training is starting soon! In this practical and intensive training, participants will learn the foundations of assessing feasibility by creating a financial workbook, conducting research and summarizing their findings.

Register by February 6 to lock in early-bird savings

This training features regular homework and a final project to demonstrate core competencies. Finance Fundamentals also includes guest speakers who focus on feasibility for specific cooperative sectors like worker, housing and ag. Co-op consultant and Certified Management Accountant Corrigan Nadon Nichols is leading Finance Fundamentals for the fourth year.

The course begins March 10 and runs through April 2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Each day runs for three hours, beginning at 11am PT/12pm MT/1pm CT/2pm ET and ending at 2pm PT/3pmMT/4pm CT/5pm ET.
