The Food Co-op Initiative and Start.coop are teaming up to host a free virtual workshop on Tuesday, June 16 from 1-2 p.m. EDT focused on community feasibility for rural food co-ops.
Designed for rural food co-op founders and organizers, the event will explore the fundamental aspects of feasibility for food co-ops, including a deep dive into rural community feasibility.
Participants will come away with a clear understanding of feasibility for food co-ops and practical skills to conduct community interviews.
Facilitated by Chris Dilley, director of startup support at FCI, this workshop is part of a project in partnership with the Cooperative Development Foundation with support from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Cooperative Development Grant (RCDG) program.
