National Co-op Month is less than a month away! This year’s theme, “Co-ops Commit,” celebrates all the ways cooperatives build a better world—by committing to their communities, their members, and to job creation and economic impact.
In an opinion piece published this month by Green Living Journal, Erbin Crowell, Executive Director of the Neighboring Food Co-op Association and a member of NCBA CLUSA’s Board of Directors, urges cooperatives in the Northeast to celebrate Co-op Month, carrying on the tradition of mutual benefit that is woven into the fabric of America society.
