The Co-op 5K is back and ready to celebrate Co-op Month! Join the Cooperative Development Foundation and its partners on Saturday, October 7 for this annual, family-friendly event to support cooperative development. Look for race details and registration coming soon at cdf.coop/5K.

This year’s race rounds out a week of celebrating the success, diversity and impact of the cooperative business model, beginning with the Co-op Festival on the National Mall and featuring the inaugural Co-op IMPACT Conference.

The Co-op 5K regularly draws co-op employees and supporters from the local co-op community and helps kick off Co-op Month. Runners, joggers and walkers will meet at East Potomac Park on Saturday, October 7 for the event.

The Co-op 5K is a major fundraiser for the Cooperative Development Foundation (CDF), a 501(3)(c) nonprofit foundation headquartered in Washington, D.C. CDF’s mission is to promote community, economic and social development through cooperative enterprise. Race proceeds support partnerships and outreach to promote and enhance cooperative development.

All race participants are eligible to win prize drawings, and there are trophies for teams with the highest fundraising, fastest time and best team spirit. Don’t forget to feast at the finish line with co-op coffee, snacks and more!

Register to attend NCBA CLUSA’s Co-op IMPACT Conference to get your free race t-shirt, and start planning now to join your fellow cooperators in Washington, D.C. to kick of Co-op Month!
