NCBA CLUSA member BreadHive Bakery & Cafe—Buffalo, New York’s only worker-owned bakery and cafe—has been making headlines lately.
What began as a wholesale distributor in a storefront in early 2015 grew into a full-blown bakery and cafe last summer. Under the mission “Good bread, good work,” BreadHive is part of a worker co-op resurgence in the region.
