Cuban Cooperators Navigate New “Rule of Three”

Alfonso Larrea Barroso was a member of the SCENIUS cooperative of accountants and professionals in Havana, Cuba before the government shut it down last year, frustrating co-op economic growth in the country.

He recently wrote an op-ed for the Havana Times outlining the new co-op “Rule of Three,” how Cuban cooperators are navigating the it, and how the rule might impact cooperatives in the region.
