We are pleased to congratulate members of the bipartisan Congressional Cooperative Business Caucus who have been re-elected to serve in the 119th Congress.

The Congressional Cooperative Business Caucus brings support to the issues that matter most to cooperatives. With an understanding of the valuable role cooperatives play in the U.S. economy and in their communities, caucus members help champion policy initiatives that benefit the cooperative business ecosystem, including tax policy, access to capital, rural economic development, employee ownership, affordable housing, and cooperative business development.

The Cooperative Business Caucus is critical to ensuring that federal lawmakers consider co-op priorities when crafting and considering legislation. The caucus is also a platform for educating congressional staff on cooperative issues. NCBA CLUSA looks forward to working with caucus members in the upcoming term to grow support for cooperatives within Congress and the Administration.

As NCBA CLUSA works to re-establish and expand the caucus in the 119th Congress, we strongly urge cooperators to contact their Members of Congress and ask them to join. Inviting your representative to tour your co-op can be a great introduction. To find your Member of Congress, visit the representative look-up portal and type in your zip code. For more information on the caucus and a sample letter you can send your elected officials, visit the Co-op Caucus homepage

If you have any additional questions about how you can support the caucus or cooperative advocacy priorities more broadly, please email advocacy@ncba.coop
