Nominees interested in running to fill five seats on the 2021 NCBA CLUSA Board of Directors, which guides and inspires the organization, have until Friday, February 12, 2021 to complete and submit this Nomination Form along with the requested supplemental material to the Nominating Committee. An NCBA CLUSA Board-appointed Nominating Committee, composed of members of the NCBA CLUSA Board of Directors, will review all nominations to verify the candidates’ eligibility per the organization’s bylaws. To be eligible for election, a candidate must be either a director or an employee of a Cooperative Member, Cooperative Association Member, an Associate Member OR an individual member of NCBA CLUSA in good standing.
By March 2, the Nominating Committee will present a slate of candidates to the NCBA CLUSA membership. The slated candidates’ biographical sketches, candidate statements and photographs will be published on the NCBA CLUSA website and in Co-op Weekly. The information will also be posted in the online election system administered by Simply Voting.
As you consider running for the Board, note that NCBA CLUSA emphasizes the importance of diversity in the Board’s composition as well as the priority of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the work of the association. Please include your experience and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in your materials.
The online election will open on March 10 and close on April 22. During this period, NCBA CLUSA members in good standing will be able to cast their votes.
The NCBA CLUSA Board election is handled electronically through Simply Voting, a secure, cost-effective and environmentally responsible online platform for election services.
The election results will be announced at NCBA CLUSA’s Annual Business Meeting & Virtual Town Hall, which will be held on May 4, 2021 in Washington, D.C.
