Online Sales for Co-op Hall of Fame Extended Through Friday, April 6

The deadline to purchase Congratulatory Ads and Friends-of listings for the 2018 Cooperative Hall of Fame has been extended through Friday, April 6. Funds raised from the Hall of Fame support the Cooperative Development Foundation, the only foundation in the U.S. devoted solely to using the cooperative business model across sectors to enhance peoples’ lives and strengthen communities.

Joining the ranks of the Hall of Fame this year are:

Paul Bradley
Founder and President, ROC USA®
Paul Bradley is scaling cooperative ownership of manufactured, or mobile, home communities by low- and moderate-income homeowners. ROC USA combines training through a network of nonprofit co-op technical assistance centers financing through Community Development Financial Institutions to make co-op ownership viable and successful. Today, ROC USA serves 213 communities and more than 13,500 homeowner-members in 15 states.

Rudy Hanley
Retired President and CEO, SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union
Through his contagious passion for member service and the cooperative spirit, Rudy Hanley ensured that SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union stayed focused on advocating for the financial security of all members as it grew to become the nation’s fifth-largest credit union and its largest serving school employees.

Rosemary Mahoney
Cooperative Business Consultant
Over a 30-year career spanning continents and cooperative sectors, Rosemary Mahoney’s keen business sense has made her a trusted advisor and innovator of business tools that have strengthened the field. Her impact includes supporting 40 startups, serving on more than 13 boards and founding several co-op service providers.

Marilyn Scholl
Retired Manager, CDS Consulting Cooperative
A gifted developer, advisor, educator and innovator, Marilyn Scholl has played a prominent role in nearly every major development in the U.S. food co-op sector. Her contributions transformed the sector by promoting growth and strong management, governance and membership practices.

These outstanding cooperative leaders will receive the co-op community’s highest honor when they are inducted into the Cooperative Hall of Fame next month. Help celebrate their achievements and impact; purchase a ticket, Congratulatory Ad or Friends-of listing before Friday, April 6.
