Opinion: Hanover Co-op Still Going Strong After 81 Years

New Hampshire is known for its breathtaking landscapes, the nation’s first public library and Timberland boots. It’s also known for having one of the oldest cooperative business in the U.S.—the Hanover Co-op Food Store.

In an opinion piece published last week by the New Hampshire Union Leader, Allan Reetz, director of Public Relations for Hanover Co-op Food Stores, says the co-op continues to thrive because is has a “profound impact” on its local economy, a message NCBA CLUSA’s Co-op Festival will amplify on the National Mall this fall and at the Co-op IMPACT Conference in October.
