Mark your calendars for October 2-3, 2024—NCBA CLUSA’s 7th Annual Cooperative IMPACT Conference is just over 100 days away, and early-bird registration will open next week!
Our theme this year is “The Future is Cooperative.” With the 2025 International Year of Cooperatives on the horizon, now is the time to build momentum within the co-op community toward a more cooperative tomorrow. At IMPACT 2024, we’ll fuel a global awareness and advocacy campaign to lift up the people-centered businesses at the heart of our communities and economies.
We invite you to join us in October, and encourage you to start planning now to be part of the only national, cross-sector cooperative event elevating the conversation around a trusted, proven way to do business and build communities. This annual conference provides an unparalleled platform to reenergize the cooperative movement and galvanize its champions around building a better future.
Our Programming
We’re excited to offer a compelling lineup of programming during the first week of October at our new location, Convene Hamilton Square in downtown Washington, DC—a five minute walk from Metro Center. Convene provides the space the IMPACT Conference needs to grow. This state-of-the-art venue offers built-in technology, collaborative common areas, unlimited beverages and snacks, and plenty of natural light for a uplifting environment that inspires learning and collaboration.
Once again, space is limited for this year’s Hike the Hill advocacy event on Wednesday, October 2, so reserve your spot soon! A central part of our IMPACT Track, you’ll play an integral role in educating policymakers in Washington, DC on the impact cooperatives have in your communities.
Made possible by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and co-hosted by the U.S. Overseas Cooperative Development Council and its members, this year’s IMPACT International Track is available free of charge to international development practitioners. We are thrilled to host the Board of Directors of Cooperatives of the Americas along with other key co-op leaders from Latin America at IMPACT 2024. Cooperatives of the Americas is a regional body representing the Americas before the International Cooperative Alliance. Our IMPACT International Track will be available in English and Spanish.
We’ll kick off the week on October 1 with this year’s Pre-Conference Course on inter-cooperation in partnership with the International Centre for Co-operative Management at Saint Mary’s University and hosted by National Cooperative Bank at 2011 Crystal Drive, Suite 800, Arlington, VA 22202. Called “The Power, Potential and Importance of Inter-cooperation,” this course is for seasoned decision-makers and emerging leaders alike from all co-op sectors.
Our Hotel Block
If you’re joining us from out of town, NCBA CLUSA has negotiated a special rate of $299 per night—exclusive of applicable state and local taxes—at Hyatt Place DC/White House for IMPACT 2024 attendees.
