Learn more—including how federal, state and local representatives can help—at a roundtable event via Facebook Live on Wednesday, September 16 from 12-1 pm PST presented by the office of Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and featuring Rep. Khanna, Assemblymember Ash Kalra and Santa Clara Mayor Lisa Gillmor. Rep. Khanna is a member of NCBA CLUSA’s Congressional Cooperative Business Caucus.

Joining the policymakers are three additional panelists representing the worker ownership space: Zen Trenholm, Program Manager at the Democracy at Work Institute; Hilary Abell, Co-Founder of Project Equity; and Kirk Vartan, Worker-Owner at A Slice of New York.
