U.S. Federation of Worker Cooperatives’ 2025 board nominations are open

In February, the U.S. Federation of Worker Cooperatives supported work in Philadelphia making that city the first to pass a resolution recognizing the Year of Cooperatives.

Nominations for the U.S. Federation of Worker Cooperatives 2025 Board of Directors election are now open.

Each year, USFWC members elect their board representatives from a pool of candidates nominated by members. In 2025, USFWC members will elect four directors.

If you are part of a USFWC member organization, you can recommend any number of people to run for the board.

The U.S. Federation of Worker Cooperatives is the only grassroots membership organization in the United States for worker cooperatives and democratic workplaces. The federation’s mission is to build a thriving ecosystem for worker-owned and -controlled businesses in which their cooperative leaders power movements for racial justice and economic democracy.
