NCBA CLUSA is looking for professionals to assist in creating a curriculum and training to empower historically underserved communities, cooperative leaders and individual co-op members with the education and resources they need to start or improve existing cooperatives. The training will also be made available to entities that want to expand their knowledge of working with cooperatives and communities.

We are looking to develop an advisory group of TA providers and producers to help identify and adapt cooperative education, operational documents and promotional materials.
This nine-month engagement includes a paid stipend, weekly sessions to create an adaptable and interactive curriculum, a network of peer support and more to take your community cooperative to the next level.
What you can expect from us
This advisory committee will engage in weekly online gatherings, contributions to our online toolkit and launch box creation, and other professional development opportunities to connect with our cooperative network of industry professionals. Each committee member will receive a $9,000 stipend for their work on this curriculum.
What we expect from you
We anticipate a time commitment of at least 10 hours per month. During this time, you will analyze current materials; meet with team members and industry professionals to identify community needs; and edit and review documents.
We expect each committee member to be present at our online gatherings and actively engaged in the co-creation of material. Our overall expectation is for the committee to assist in the creation public-facing materials that are culturally appropriate for communities to teach, train, organize and empower communities through cooperative development.
