The 2016 Co-op 5K is less than two weeks away! Register online by October 14 and be part of this family- and pet-friendly race/walk to support cooperative development and celebrate National Co-op Month!
Join other runners, joggers and walkers at Hains Point, East Potomac Park at 8 a.m. on Saturday, October 22 for this year’s event, a 3.1 mile run, jog or walk followed by a Co-op Feast at the Finish Line. All participants are eligible to win co-op prizes, not just the fastest runners in each age bracket. The Co-op 5K serves as a major fundraiser for the Cooperative Development Foundation (CDF), a 501(3)(c) nonprofit foundation headquartered in Washington, DC. CDF’s mission is to promote community, economic and social development through cooperative enterprise.
