The U.S. Federation of Worker Cooperative’s Esteban Kelly and Mo Manklang accept the award for Best Social Media Video on behalf of their member A Slice of New York.

As part of our public awareness and advocacy work during the Year of Cooperatives, we invited cooperators from all sectors to join in a video storytelling campaign leading up to our first-ever film fest at the 2025 Cooperative IMPACT Conference.

Over the summer, we were thrilled to receive 42 submissions from across the co-op community. These powerful stories showcase how cooperatives are transforming communities, businesses and the broader economy.

While we could only present awards to the winners in each category at the 2025 Cooperative IMPACT Conference, all of the submissions are a valuable contribution to the co-op ecosystem. That’s why we’re excited to share that the submissions are now available on NCBA’s YouTube channel.

Our hope is that this collection continues to grow and serves as a resource for everyone in the co-op community to use for public awareness, advocacy and education. To that end, we’ve reopened submissions at ncbaclusa.coop/stories. All videos submitted will be considered entries to the IMPACT 2026 Film Fest.
