The report is full of stories, program updates and data that show how USFWC’s stewardship and national infrastructure in 2024 ensured worker co-ops learn faster, mobilize stronger, and innovate together.
- There are 1,300 worker co-ops nationwide, a number that has tripled in the past decade—with more than half launched in the past five years.
- With a pay ratio of 1.5:1 compared to 290:1, worker co-ops deliver fairer workplaces than the corporate norm.
- Worker co-ops generated $806 million in revenue in 2024.
The U.S. Federation of Worker Cooperatives is the national grassroots membership organization for worker cooperatives and democratic workplaces. Their mission is to build a thriving ecosystem for worker-owned and controlled businesses and their cooperative leaders to power movements for racial justice and economic democracy.
