The latest installment in resilience.org’s #SolidarityCities project features the Philadelphia Area Cooperative Alliance (PACA) and explores how Philadelphia-based co-ops and other organizations contribute to local economic solidarity. PACA is the most recent cross-sector cooperative alliance in the U.S. to organize as a Cooperative Business Association (CBA) and in October was the recipient of a $25,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to boost local food production and distribution. NCBA CLUSA is the national convener of CBAs.
