The Cooperative Development Foundation’s Howard Bowers Fund is seeking donations from the co-op community for its 2015 Silent Auction to be held during the the Consumer Cooperative Management Association (CCMA) Conference in Boise, Idaho, June 11 – 13. The CCMA Conference is the fund’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
Auction items range from co-op t-shirts, reusable shopping bags, gift baskets and other “swag” items to complimentary registrations to the top co-op conferences. Please consider a donation that showcases your co-op.
The proceeds from the auction will support training for cooperative boards and staff at CCMA and throughout the year. Donations to the event will be advertised on the CCMA website and on social media.
Since 1994, the Howard Bowers Fund has provided more than $380,000 in scholarships to fund board and staff training for new and established food co-ops and scholarships to CCMA and Up and Coming, Up and Running. More than 25 people will attend CCMA 2015 on a scholarship from the Bowers Fund.
