Two new opportunities to get a first look at the 2025 advocacy landscape

Bring your advocacy questions to next week’s live Q&A, then join us on January 30 for a Government Relations Co-op Circle Town Hall.

With co-ops in the spotlight in the U.S. and around the world during the Year of Cooperatives, 2025 is a pivotal opportunity to raise awareness of and advocate for cooperatives. NCBA CLUSA is calling on cooperators to help amplify policies that support and strengthen the cooperative business model.

We invite you to be our partners in educating policymakers on the critical role co-ops play in building local economies, strengthening democracy and creating a sustainable and resilient future for everyone. Co-op members like you are the best advocates for the people-centered businesses at the heart of your communities.

Registration is now open for two new opportunities this month to discuss advocacy priorities in the year ahead and how you can get involved:

Advocacy Ask Me Anything

On Thursday, January 23 from 10 am-1 pm EST, we’re hosting our first-ever Advocacy Ask Me Anything, a live Q&A session on Co-op Circle, our digital hub for members and stakeholders to connect and collaborate. NCBA CLUSA’s President and CEO Doug O’Brien and Government Relations Team will be available to answer your questions about cooperative advocacy in 2025. We’ll cover topics including cooperative tax issues in 2025, the care economy and cooperative ownership, access to SBA financing, affordable housing through cooperatives, the Farm Bill, Corporate Transparency Act and much more.

Join us from 10 am-1 pm EST on January 23

Government Relations Co-op Circle Town Hall

Then join us on Thursday, January 30 from 1-2 pm EST for a Government Relations Co-op Circle Town Hall. We’ll unpack our new Cooperative Business Playbook, preview key advocacy priorities for 2025 and discuss strategies for navigating the new Congress and incoming Administration.
