The Interagency Working Group on Cooperative Development was first authorized by the 2014 Farm Bill, thanks to diligent advocacy efforts by NCBA CLUSA and the cooperative community. USDA’s Interagency Working Group on Cooperative Development promotes a whole-of-government approach to using cooperative enterprise to solve specific public policy challenges and ensures the government is better informed in its engagement with cooperative businesses.

For further information, please see the Interagency Working Group on Cooperative Development website, NCBA CLUSA’s webpage on the body, or contact Jim Wadsworth (james.wadsworth@usda.gov) or Meegan Moriarty (meegan.moriarty@usda.gov), both at the USDA.
