We’re $5K away from reaching Frontier Co-op’s $25K match for cooperatives in Ukraine – help us hit our goal!

We’re just $5,000 away from reaching last week’s match from Frontier Co-op to support the immediate and ongoing needs of Ukrainian cooperators. There are three days left to join this challenge! Frontier Co-op has pledged a 100 percent match for all donations up to $25,000 made by 11:59 pm EDT on Thursday, March 31, 2022.

One-hundred percent of your donation to the Cooperative Development Foundation (CDF)’s Disaster Recovery Fund goes directly to support efforts. CDF does not charge an administrative fee for fund management.

Donate by March 31!

Earlier this month, we heard from COOP Ukraine. They continue to weather brutal attacks and expressed gratitude for the international cooperative community’s support in the form of immediate humanitarian aid. They also identified additional areas of need that will help them rebuild in the future.

“Ukraine’s consumer cooperatives [are] suffering enormous losses,” said Illia Gorokhovskyi, chair of COOP Ukraine’s Board of Directors. “But we are determined to overcome everything and build a peaceful, happy Ukraine.”

The need in Ukraine is great. As mentioned previously, we are coordinating with the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions to send $10,000 of donations to support PARD’s efforts to provide immediate food and shelter for displaced Ukrainians. The remainder of the funds raised will go directly to support COOP Ukraine.

Support the effort with an online donation or by sending a check to CDF at 1775 I St. NW, 8th floor, Washington, DC 20006 indicating Disaster Recovery Fund in the memo line. Your donation today can help CDF provide Ukrainian cooperatives with immediate and ongoing support through CDF’s Disaster Recovery Fund.
