Because IMPACT 2020 is fully virtual, it presents a unique opportunity to bring a wider spectrum of the cooperative community together around more accessible and affordable programming, removing the barriers to participation due to travel, health, financial or time constraints. At $25 for NCBA CLUSA members and $35 for non-members, the early-bird rate includes full access to all conference programming, including dozens of sessions featuring close to 100 best-in-class speakers.

This year’s sessions focus on the obligations cooperatives have to create diverse, equitable and inclusive workplaces and boards, and how co-ops can better meet the needs of communities that have been excluded from economic participation and advancement. Our speakers will explore the path from privilege to allyship, unpack how power dynamics can impact co-ops and share their expertise and experience around building equitable and inclusive co-op ecosystems, decolonizing the U.S. cooperative movement, changing the co-op leadership lens, promoting enabling environments and more.

Our international sessions similarly discuss diversity, equity and inclusion within the context of COVID-19, examining the role co-ops around the world are playing in four key areas: serving member needs as early responders; maintaining food systems; contributing to financial resiliency in crisis situations; and using data and technology in response to the pandemic. As always, our international programming is available for free to development practitioners. During registration, choose “International Sessions Only” on the Registration Type dropdown. This year’s international programming is made possible by the U.S. Agency for International Development and sponsored by the U.S. Overseas Cooperative Development Council and its members.
