Join us for the final in a series of IMPACT 2021 session replays leading up to the International Cooperative Alliance’s 33rd World Cooperative Congress in December. With cooperative identity high on the agenda of both events, our identity-themed session replays are a great opportunity to gear up for the congress and continue the conversations you began at IMPACT 2021.

During “Going Deeper with Co-op Identity,” world-class cooperative thought leaders and practitioners will explore how cooperatives can increase their impact on their members and communities. The shared values and principles of co-ops hold enormous potential to drive positive change, including the 6th Cooperative Principle, which calls for purposeful cooperation among co-ops.

The panel will consider: What are some world-class examples of cooperatives serving their members and the broader community? What would it take to achieve success with a global commitment to deepening cooperative identity? Is more extensive cross-sector collaboration among co-ops an essential ingredient for deepened cooperative identity?

Moderated by NCBA CLUSA president and CEO Doug O’Brien, this panel features Rose Marley, CEO of Co-operatives UK; Duane Wilson, vice president of Stakeholder Relations at Arctic Co-operatives Limited; Curtis Wynn, president and CEO of Roanoke Electric Cooperative; and Stefano Zamagni, senior adjunct professor of International Economics at SAIS Europe.
