NCBA CLUSA will join fellow sponsors National Cooperative Bank, Emmet, Marvin & Martin, LLP, CoBank and National Co+op Grocers in Washington, D.C. next month for the Cooperative Development Foundation’s annual Co-op 5K, a family- and pet-friendly race/walk to support cooperative development.
The race regularly draws hundreds of participants and supporters from the local co-op community and helps celebrate National Co-op Month in a healthy way. This year, runners, joggers and walkers will meet at Hains Point, East Potomac Park at 8 a.m. on Saturday, October 22 for the event.
Click here to register for the race. This year’s participant kit includes a race bib, race t-shirt, #GoCoop shades and temporary co-op tattoos! CDF encourages team participation in the Co-op 5K—groups registering as a team get their team name on the back of the official race t-shirt. To register as a team, click here or call (202) 383-5445.
The Co-op 5K serves as a major fundraiser for the Cooperative Development Foundation (CDF), a 501(3)(c) nonprofit foundation headquartered in Washington, D.C. CDF’s mission is to promote community, economic and social development through cooperative enterprise.
