Runners, walkers and their four-legged companions are invited to participate in the 2019 Co-op 5K, a fun, family-friendly event that cooperators of all ages will enjoy!
Held annually at Hains Point, East Potomac Park in Washington, DC, the Co-op 5K kicks off Co-op Month and serves as a major fundraiser for the Cooperative Development Foundation (CDF). Monies raised through the event go to support cooperative causes worldwide.
Prizes are awarded to the fastest male and female in each age bracket. Trophies are given to the Fastest Team, Most Team Spirit, and Highest Fundraisers! Prizes for the Co-op 5k range from REI Co-op backpacks to co-op swag baskets!
This year’s race is scheduled for Saturday, October 5 at 8 a.m. For race day information, visit cdf.coop/co-op-5K.
